Pedro Javier González
Pedro Javier González is one of the most appreciated and versatile guitarists in the Spanish music scene.
With the trio, which in addition to himself on guitar featured Toni Terré on bass and the never forgotten Roger Blavia on percussion, he has been our guest several times since distant times 2002. In the 2006, on the sidelines of the festival, he also held an unforgettable concert at the Teatro Olimpico (October 2006), the complete recording of which is still available on DVD and constitutes one of our most prestigious creations.
After the painful death of Roger Blavia and the consequent decision of Toni Terré to retire from public musical activity, Pedro put the trio back together, which he now understands, as well as Pedro on guitar, Guillem Aguilar on bass and David Dominguez on percussion. The quality of training, which we were able to appreciate in the last edition of the festival, it is completely up to the one we already knew, and who has been a guest of the festival and other events around Italy many times.
Currently Pedro Javier, in addition to the Trio concerts, it performs in these other modes: Solo, Duo, Septet (flamenco/fusion training), up to the performance with symphony orchestra of the classic “Concierto de Aranjuez”.
During this edition of the festival we will be able to applaud Pedro in Solo mode, which he loves very much, and which allows him to interpret his own original songs and others from the best Spanish tradition with great effectiveness.
