Francesco Loccisano e Marcellus De Charles Duo

Francesco Loccisano and Marcello De Carolis explain how there is no precise moment in which their collaboration began, but an exchange with a single purpose was immediately created, the art of the battente guitar:

At the beginning it seemed impossible to make two solo instruments dialogue, but the duo's sound immediately took shape and uniqueness when creativity and expression became complicit.

Francesco Loccisano he says about himself:

My music is a fusion of traditional roots and modern interpretations. Every album, from 'Battente Italiana' to 'Upgrade' is a journey through time and space, combining the warmth of tradition with the audacity of innovation. With my music I try to convey not just melodies, but also stories and emotions.

Marcello de Carolis he says about himself:

I consider myself a cultured-popular musician or a popular-cultured musician expressing myself with the music of my guitars which might seem opposite. In reality the battente guitar can also play classical music just as the classical guitar can also play popular music, without ever losing its nature, managing to turn every note into music and therefore art.
